Revamp Your United Glue Glue Unit

The early model DGU glue unit used the R45573 (LH) and R45574 (RH) Main Glue Pans. These machines had square hollow tube cross-members, which wound up being too flimsy – reference plate #42 in the early DGU parts book. The later model DGU was redesigned to use cylindrical solid tubes, R53735 (LH) and R53574 (RH) – these are shown on assembly drawing R53856F. Both of the above versions used R41436 and R41438 Removable Glue Pans. If you are looking for just the removeable pans we recommend purchasing the R41436 & R41438. If you are looking for the entire glue pan assembly, we recommend a complete overhaul of the RH drive or LH drive.

MA3548_Glue_Pan_Stainless

The R41436 & R41438 was used on the DGU, SF600, and some early SFM’s. But most of the SF600 and early SFM’s have been converted to use the MA3548 & MA3549, if they run a maximum paper width of 98″.

Additionally, we offer some of these United glue pans to be Teflon vs. non-Teflon coated (stainless). Typically, we will provide both options with our quote as lead times and costs may be significantly different. If you have a preference, please let us know so we can quote accordingly.

Send our team a request for quote with this information, and they can provide you with the complete overhaul list!
